AI is making waves in the fitness industry, with apps and platforms promising customised workouts at the click of a button.

While it’s impressive how far technology has come, here’s the truth: an AI-generated plan is just a template—a collection of exercises you could easily find in a textbook or a quick Google search.

What AI lacks is human understanding. A real coach doesn’t just prescribe a program—they coach you as a person. We feel when you’re off, know how to adapt when you’re under-recovered, and understand how mindset and motivation fluctuate through a training block. We don’t just give instructions, we share our own stories, our setbacks, and our solutions. That connection can’t be coded.

I’ve represented Great Britain in two elite sports, broken British records, and become a European champion. That experience isn’t theory it’s lived. The systems I give my clients aren’t pulled from a database; they’re built on what’s worked in real-world, high-performance environments. An AI hasn’t stood on a podium. It hasn’t dealt with pressure, injury, or comeback seasons. A coach has, and that’s what makes all the difference.

AI can support the journey for sure, but it can’t lead it. Real progress comes from a real coach who knows what it takes to get you there, not just what reps to write down.
